Eyelash Extensions
Eyelash extensions are synthetic or natural fibers that are applied to your natural lashes to enhance their length, thickness, and fullness. The extensions are glued to individual natural lashes using a semi-permanent adhesive. They come in various lengths, curls, and thicknesses to achieve different looks, from a subtle enhancement to a dramatic effect.Â
How does it work?
Based on your preference, eye shape, eye color and facial features, appropriate length and curl type extensions will be used. Eyes are cleaned and any makeup or oil are removed. Under eye-gel pad will be applied to your lower lash line to keep your lower eyelashes out of the way. This will provide contrast making it easier to apply lash extensions. Over the eye gel, a medical-grade tape will be used to secure the lashes.
Using tweezers to isolate each eyelash, another set of tweezers will dip the end of each lash extension in special adhesive then applied to natural lashes. We will let the lashes dry for about 10-15 mins and remove the tape under your eye. Then with a final brush through using a spoolie.
How long does it last?
Lash extensions typically last about 6 to 8 weeks, which aligns with the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes.Â
As your natural lashes shed and new ones grow in, the extensions will naturally fall out as well.Â
Regular touch-ups or refills every 2 to 3weeks is recommended to maintain a full look.Â
After Care
- Avoid getting your lashes wet for 24 hours after the treatment, including during face washing, steamy showers, saunas, or intense exercise.Â
- Avoid oil-based products and be gentle when cleaning your face.
